The road led from the ticket booth in around behind the screen and then into the main grounds. The projection booth and snack bar are no longer there and the speaker poles have been removed. A few of them are still stacked up in the yard but most are gone now.

After walking around the grounds it was obvious that it is currently being used as a construction storage yard. I took the pictures of the of the screen tower before proceeding to the most interesting part of the Joy Drive-in, the ticket booth.

Its very clear to me that at one time this was a ticket booth with a lot of character. I slowly approached the booth taking pictures.

Often Terry and I have found some pretty cool stuff while looking around the grounds. We even once found an old ad sitting in a booth. As I walked over to the booth I poked my head through the missing window for a look inside.
