This is the reverse view through, and inside, the ticket booth. The damage to the glass prevents us from determining if this side was also set up for the sale of tickets.
This view of the screen was taken from the side of the ticket booth. The mossy condition of the screen is quite clear.
This view shows the screen, fountain and entry lanes. The pump for the fountain was above ground and located directly in front of the fountain. Grass covers it in this picture.
Our examination of the ticket booth complete, we decided to walk around behind the property. This picture provides a view from the entrance to the property towards the ticket booth and the fountain. Note the cement slab at the front of the property. Could this have been an earlier ticket booth?
This view was taken from the backside of the property. The quality isn't very good; however, it does show the concession stand, the screen and the encrouchment of the mini-storage on the screen lot. Notice the brush pile. The last satellite image available of the property shows the back side of the property was shielded by trees. These trees are now gone. I suspect some of the underbrush was piled up on the screen lot.
We crossed the road before returning to the front of the property. Notice how tall the trees are that run along the side of the property. I would expect the trees behind the property would have been this same size.
Returning to the front of the property, I climbed up on the fountain and took several additional pictures. An old swing set is just visibile above the fence. Hint: It is sitting in front of the trees in the center of the screen.
