I just thought it was great that you could see the Starlite Drive-in in Brenham on the Internet. I saw Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
there in '69 with my mom and dad... a lot of memories there. In September of 1985, during my first week of graduate school, I read in
"The Hustler" the Vanderbilt school paper, that the Starlite Drive-in in Brenham, Texas had closed. Joe Bob Briggs closed his column saying
"without our eternal vigilance, it could happen here." It did."
