Varsity The Varsity described itself as being at "Culebra and Bandera Road". That bit about "Culebra" is what we needed to narrow down our search.

Gerald D. Lyda --- Our family move to San Antonio in the October, 1954 and visited the Varsity Drive-In regularly from 1954 to 1957. The Varsity Drive-In was located at the juncture of Culebra Road (pronounced "Koo-lay-bruh") and Bandera Road. Today, a large H.E.B. grocery & super market sits on the site of the old drive-in theatre.
