Roxy, 3600 Old Pleasanton Road (1955-1957) & 3903 Pleasanton Road (1961-1973):

No trace remains that we could find of the original location at 3600 Old Pleasanton Road (or at least what we think was Old Pleasanton Road).  We had better luck at 3903 Pleasanton Road.  We found what may have been the remains of a screen support tower, PierTop2.jpg (827488 bytes) the floor of the concession stand SnackFloor2.jpg (644615 bytes), random patches of gravel and asphalt, and a location which may have been the site of the ticket booth.

I'm pretty sure the Lilall Cockerel Apartments are located over the 3600 location of the Roxy.  As to the other location, I think we were right on the money.  We found a concrete pier that had a 12" steel bean cut off in it.  We also found what I'm sure was the original floor of the concession stand.  It had green and white checkered floor tiles.  They were badly weathered but they were still in good enough condition to tell what color and pattern they were.  Now if we can find somebody that would remember the floor tiles in the Roxy we would have positive ID.
