This is the concession stand as seen from the entrance to the Screen 3 lot. On the right side of the picture, you can see the auto bridge over the creek that separates Screens 3 and 4 from the rest of the theater.

This picture was taken before the fence around the Screen 1 lot was replaced. If you went to the Mission tonight, you wouldn't be able to see the bottom half of the concession stand.

This is Screen 1 and the ticket booths as seen from the Screen 3 lot. I like this picture a lot!

This is Screen 3 as seen during the intermission break.
Why so few cars in the lot? These pictures were taken on a week night so that I could avoid attracting any undue attention from other patrons.

Yet another view of the ticket booths. Note the shutters on the sides of each ticket booth. These shutters were not installed to deter criminal activity. They were installed after one of the ticket terminals was damaged during a violent storm.

There is a third shutter that can be installed to cover the front glass. This is the critical piece since it keeps water from blowing in through the openings in the glass.

Still another ticket booth shot. Note the ticket "runners" waiting to take orders from each car as it pulls to the head of the line.

This is a view of the concession stand as seen from the Screen 2 lot. The majority of the lights inside are "blue" florescent bulbs. These bulbs generate very little light pollution. The lights at the counter, and inside the kitchen, are "bright white". If you are standing in from of these lights, you can read a newspaper two rows into the lot. My solution to this problem? Reverse tint the windows of the concession stand. This would filter out at least some of the "bright white" light before it reaches the lots!
